The PCI Reading Program is a research-based curriculum created specifically to teach students with developmental disabilities, autism, and significant learning disabilities to read. Word Building Software Lessons are included in each level of the print programs. The additional licenses* for the software lessons offers teachers the flexibility to work with multiple students learning at different speeds.
Features
Each level of this software mirrors the visual discrimination lessons and assessments printed in the Word Building Lessons books of the PCI Reading Print Programs. Like the print component, this software contains the following three student activities:

The software version provides the student with an alternative mode of presentation and makes it easier for the teacher to assesss students and monitor progress. The Word Building Software Lessons include a case with teacher’s guide and interactive cd version of the lessons.
All of the activities are designed for one-on-one settings (i.e., one teacher and one student). The student's role is to click on, say, or read words as prompted by the narrator. The teacher's role is to determine the accuracy of each response and record it as correct or iincorrect.
